Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Professional Services Team and support a variety of network projects across the Tri-State Area. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and document network solutions for multiple client environments.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of networking experience, CCNA preferred, and solid knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and firewalls.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of networking or IT infrastructure experience.
• CCNA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong foundations in TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall concepts.
• Experience configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting network technologies is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the Tri-State Area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop knowledge of current networking technologies and best practices.
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure (switching, routing, wireless, firewall).
• Follow established standards, guidelines, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in project delivery under guidance of senior engineers and leadership.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and diagrams.
