Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Network Technician to help maintain and support our campus network infrastructure in Snellville, GA. You will perform installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Cisco networking equipment, documenting all assets and links.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of hands-on Cisco experience, with a Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree. CCNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field required, or 4 years of relevant work experience in addition to the experience requirement.
• 2 years of work experience with installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment.
• In lieu of degree, hands-on knowledge of Cisco installation, implementation, and maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the stable operation of Piedmont Healthcare's computer network.
• Perform basic installation, configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software and document all network links to minimize downtime.
• Conduct basic diagnosis, resolution and documentation of network problems and provide end-user training and support as needed.

Responsibilities

This position supports the stable operation of the Piedmont Healthcare computer network. The person will perform basic installation, configuration and maintenance, and document all network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime. The person will also perform the basic diagnosis, resolution and documentation of hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support where required.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field Required or
• In Lieu of degree four (4) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required

Work Experience
