Job summary

Credence is seeking a journeyman Network Engineer to support the AFLCMC Air Force Security Assistance Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will manage JWICS network configuration, perform routine upgrades, and coordinate security policy with the ISSM.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, DoD experience, and DoD 8140 qualifications. Travel within the AOR may be required; on-site work at WPAFB is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility for access to SAP if needed.
• At least 3 years of DoD experience in the respective field; DoD 8140 criteria met.
• Must maintain DoD 8140 professional development and certifications.
• Experience with JWICS networks and AF security guidance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary network configuration and maintenance support for WPAFB AF JWICS infrastructure.
• Coordinate with ISSM on RMF control implementation and cybersecurity policy.
• Perform design, installation, upgrades, monitoring, and change management for network infra.
• Support collateral LAN systems (NIPR, SIPR) and perform crypto equipment maintenance.
• Travel within the AOR as required and coordinate with DoD and industry partners.
