Qualifications

Network Engineer – Cisco Viptela SD-WAN

We are seeking an experienced **Network Engineer** to lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of complex enterprise network and server environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Cisco Viptela Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN)**, service-provider networks, network security, and large-scale remote-site deployments.

The Network Engineer will provide technical leadership for network and voice infrastructure, high-availability environments, disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, network monitoring, and complex troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum **4 years of progressively responsible experience** planning, designing, installing, and maintaining complete network infrastructure in a centralized IT organization with a high-availability environment.
• At least **1 year of experience in a lead capacity**.
• Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela-based SD-WAN**, including feature and device templates, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance across hundreds of remote sites.
• Minimum **3 years of increasingly responsible experience in a service-provider network**.
• Strong knowledge of advanced networking principles, network protocols, network topologies, and emerging networking technologies.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, network security appliances, file servers, storage management, and network management systems.
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as applicable to the environment.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• **Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)** and **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)** certifications.
