Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc (DUIT) seeks a seasoned Network Engineer with 12+ years of experience for Maryland-based roles. You will support DoD/IC compliant networks, monitor infrastructure, and help design secure network architectures.

Responsibilities include CNS operations, upgrades, and QA, with certification requirements including TS/SCI and DoD 8570 IAT III; Cisco certification is required. This role is based in Maryland and offers competitive salaries and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, IA, ISS, or related field with 10+ years of network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant network engineering experience as substitute for Master’s.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570-M IAT III baseline certification; Cisco certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Network Administrators and System Administrators, monitor and maintain the current infrastructure, improve system performance, and automate system administration.
• Provide input to the design of the organization’s network and mission architecture.
• Conduct Computer Network Defense Operations, plan and install network upgrades, design, and perform quality assurance and control.
• Configure and maintain organization’s network diagrams and accreditations.
• Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations.
• Oversee support for all network equipment.
• Support the integration of the analytic platform into the CND CDC.
• Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators.
• Design modules representing traditional circuit switched networks.
• Lead large efforts and installation projects of dynamic requirements and scale.
• Develop algorithms for models using networking and/or telecommunications technologies and systems.

Qualifications

• Required Education & Years of Experience: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curriculum. In lieu of a Master’s degree a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and an additional two (2) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a total of 12 years. In lieu of a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and an additional six (6) years of relevant experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a total of 16 years. Certification: An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. Cisco certification is required.
