Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid / Spokane, Washington
Summary:
The Network Engineer is a key member of our global network team, responsible for configuring and deploying network services in a dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage firewall configurations, network change requests, documentation, and troubleshooting in a global on-premise and cloud environment.
- Ensure secure, auditable configurations for network devices such as firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
- Implement proactive network monitoring strategies.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams on network improvements and secure service operations.
- Ensure network resources have redundancy and resiliency.
- Deploy new network equipment and settings.
- Participate in change management, scheduled maintenance, and on-call support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred in IT or related field with a focus on network engineering.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience as a network engineer or similar role.
- Technical training in networking is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and network technologies such as IPsec, routing, VLANs, L2 & L3 switching, WiFi.
- Familiarity with firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco), network monitoring tools (Wireshark, Solarwinds), and other related technologies.
- Experience with Zscaler ZPA/ZIA and Extrahop is beneficial.

- Salary range: $62,050 - $105,800, with comprehensive benefits.
