Job summary

Talentful is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer, Service Delivery for a global cloud infrastructure. This fully remote role focuses on helping customers implement services, onboarding, deployments, migrations, and cutovers across a Cisco-centric environment.

You will work with project managers, support teams, technical account managers, and customers to design and validate network topologies, document work, and contribute to knowledge bases while evolving deployment processes with changing

Job description

We’re hiring for a Network Engineer, Service Delivery to join a global cloud infrastructure business in a fully remote role.

This is a hands-on networking position focused on helping customers implement services across a global cloud environment. You’ll be involved in customer onboarding, network deployments, troubleshooting, migrations, and cutovers, working closely with project managers, support teams, technical account managers, and customers.

The environment is primarily built around Cisco networking, so we’re looking for someone with strong hands-on Cisco experience, alongside solid networking fundamentals across routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, IPsec VPNs, segmentation, firewalls, and load balancers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting customer implementations, migrations, and scheduled cutovers
• Managing and troubleshooting switches, firewalls, load balancers, IPsec VPNs, and customer network configurations
• Designing and supporting network topologies across varied customer environments
• Working with project managers and cross-functional technical teams to deliver customer projects
• Documenting work in ticketing systems and contributing to knowledge base documentation
• Supporting advanced customer issues alongside support and account teams
• Helping improve deployment processes as technologies and environments evolve

What We’re Looking For

• Around 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Strong experience in Cisco networking, including routing and switching
• Good working knowledge of VLANs, BGP, IPsec VPNs, network segmentation, VRFs, switching, and load balancers
• Experience with firewalls and/or virtual appliances such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Netscaler, SonicWall, Juniper, or similar
• Experience in a managed services, IaaS, cloud infrastructure, data center, or enterprise networking environment
• Comfortable working with customers, project managers, and cross-functional delivery teams
• Ability to document technical work clearly and follow structured delivery processes
• Exposure to VMware, NSX, virtualization, or automation would be a plus
• CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
• Hours: Preference for candidates able to work primarily Pacific Time business hours
• Schedule: Occasional scheduled after-hours work may be required for customer cutovers or migrations
• Work authorization: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship
