Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on Cisco routers and switches, routing protocols, and robust security across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.

The engineer will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking equipment, support upgrades and migrations, and collaborate with security and application teams to ensure resilient connectivity and well-documented networks.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network security.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, routing, switching, network security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.

Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity.

Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

Monitor network performance, availability, and security.

Perform root cause analysis and resolve network issues.

Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure deployments.

Implement network security policies and access controls.

Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.

Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.

Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.

Experience with switching technologies, STP, and trunking.

Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN.

Experience with firewalls and network security.

Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Experience in network configuration, implementation, and documentation.
