Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to ensure smooth operation of voice and data networks, install and maintain network systems, security, and configurations within physical and virtual infrastructure.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of network protocols and security to prevent outages and enable reliable communications. This federal contractor notes the position is contingent on award and funding, with an initial two-month term and potential continuation based

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 4–8 years of related network engineering experience.
  • Ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Top Secret level (eligibility/credentials).

Responsibilities

  • Administers and maintains computer networks and related computing environments.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to identify network needs and develop basic network solutions.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves moderate network issues independently.
  • Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
  • Optimizes configurations to improve performance and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
  • Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration.

This position offers an initial term of employment of two (2) months, with the potential for continued employment based on future contract opportunities and funding.

The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the voice and data network systems. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of network systems, applications, security, and configurations within the physical and virtual network infrastructure. This position uses a thorough knowledge of network processes, concepts, best practices, and network protocols and security.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and four to eight (4-8) years related experience

EOE including Disability/Vet

The estimated pay range for this role is $85,000 to $125,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
