Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Network Engineer in Trinidad, CO. The role requires CCNA, hands-on Cisco device experience, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, and wireless networking expertise.

You will support routing, switching, and security tasks while engaging with clients and maintaining SLA targets. Responsibilities include configuring Cisco devices, upgrading IOS across Layer 2/3, monitoring networks, and documenting incidents.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification required as minimum.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco devices and routing/switching.
• Experience with SD-WAN and routing policies.
• Experience with DNS and DHCP deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco APs and Wireless Controllers.
• Ability to resolve incidents within SLA and document outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support Cisco network devices.
• Manage DNS and DHCP deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot wireless networking using Cisco APs and Wireless Controllers.
• Resolve network incidents, implement routing changes, and update infrastructure.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and manage escalations within SLA.
• Document daily operational activities and customer interactions.

Network Engineer

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CCNA certification (minimum requirement).
• Hands-on experience with multiple Cisco device models and strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies. Solid understanding of LAN concepts and day-to-day network operations.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Cisco network devices.
• Working experience with SD-WAN technologies and routing policies.
• Experience with DNS and DHCP server deployment, configuration, record management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting wireless networking issues, including Cisco Access Points and Wireless Controllers.
• Ability to resolve network-related incidents, system failures, routing changes, and infrastructure updates.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand and address requirements.
• Experience managing escalations, resolving technical issues within SLA targets, and contributing to problem management processes.
• Experience performing IOS upgrades across Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco switching platforms.
• Experience configuring and supporting routing protocols and technologies, including OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP, ACLs, PPP, Wireless VPN, and related networking services.
• Understanding of network architecture across all OSI layers, including cabling and physical connectivity concepts.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with network monitoring tools, monitoring setup, and troubleshooting.
• Proven customer support experience, including test case execution, results validation, and direct client interaction.
• Ability to document operational activities, incidents, and customer interactions on a daily basis.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies and security concepts.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Experience with AWS networking services and cloud networking concepts.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 a year
