Job summary

TELEVERSE Inc. in Round Rock, TX, is looking for a Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain LANs, WANs, and internet systems to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities include installing and testing routers, switches, and virtualization, monitoring performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and communicating in Korean with managers, clients, and colleagues to ensure service continuity. Training is provided to support ongoing network operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Experience with LANs, WANs, and network hardware.

• Ability to monitor, diagnose, and resolve network issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LANs, WANs, and internet systems to meet operational and customer needs.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and virtualized environments.
• Monitor network performance, usage, and traffic with diagnostic tools, identifying potential issues and bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and system problems, escalating when appropriate.
• Carry out routine maintenance, upgrades, and updates to support system stability, security, and service continuity.
• Help users resolve network, computer hardware, and software issues, with Korean communications as needed.
• Support and improve network monitoring and alerting systems, including notifications in Korean about outages or incidents.
• Document configurations and procedures, and train users on updated systems, communicating in Korean as needed.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LANs, WANs, and internet systems to meet operational and customer needs.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and virtualized environments.
• Monitor network performance, usage, and traffic with diagnostic tools, identifying potential issues and bottlenecks that require corrective action.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and system problems, escalating complex or recurring issues to engineering or senior technical teams when appropriate.
• Carry out routine maintenance, upgrades, and updates to support system stability, security, and service continuity.
• Help users resolve network, computer hardware, and software issues. Receive instructions and provide task updates, status reports, and completion summaries in spoken and written Korean to managers, clients, and colleagues.
• Support and improve network monitoring and alerting systems, including preparing and distributing notifications in spoken and written Korean about outages or incidents affecting customers to clients, vendors, and headquarters personnel.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and support activities, and help train users or internal staff on new or updated systems, communicating in spoken and written Korean with colleagues and headquarters personnel as needed.
