Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel) and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP)
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, or similar)
• Familiarity with major networking platforms (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals
• Experience with REST APIs and network programmability concepts
• Deep experience with software architecture, API contract design, and data schema rules
• Proficiency in automated verification criteria and testing methodologies

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Network Engineer . This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Round Rock, TX(Onsite).

Pay Range: $60/hr - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
