The position specifically requires advanced routing/switching knowledge, VMware NSX expertise, Palo Alto security-policy experience, and network troubleshooting capabilities.
Palo Alto certification is a major requirement. An exception may be considered for a highly experienced Palo Alto engineer who can obtain the required certification within 90 days.
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE is also required, along with Cisco VoIP or other applicable technical certification requirements.
The strongest candidate will be a true enterprise network engineer with security depth, someone who can confidently configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto, VPNs, routing, switching, WAN connectivity, and advanced networking protocols rather than simply monitor or escalat network issues.
