CornerStone Technology Talent Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Network Engineer II to design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise networking and security infrastructure. The role focuses on Palo Alto firewalls, VPN connectivity, SD-WAN, and robust LAN/WAN operations across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on firewall management, routing/switching expertise, and a track record in regulated environments.

Qualifications

6+ years in Network Operations, Network Engineering, or Data Center environments.
4+ years managing Palo Alto Firewalls.
Strong hands-on VPN configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Advanced understanding of enterprise routing and switching in highly available datacenters.
Experience with regulated environments (SOX, PCI, SSAE, NCUA, FDIC).

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot highly available enterprise network and security infrastructure.
Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.
Implement and support site-to-site, client, and vendor VPN connectivity.
Troubleshoot complex VPN, routing, connectivity, latency, and network-performance issues.
Support enterprise LAN/WAN environments and a multi-carrier WAN across 50+ locations.
Coordinate network security controls within a regulated enterprise environment.
Monitor network availability, security, and performance; remediate issues proactively.
