Job summary

Vervic Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer in Lehi, Utah to design and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong TCP/IP skills, routing/switching knowledge, and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper gear.

Three years of experience with a degree or five years without, plus TS/SCI-FSP clearance, are required. Expect on-call duties and ticketing via Remedy, with virtualization tools like VMware involved.

Qualifications

• Experience with datacenter network design, Cisco routers/switches, and IPsec VPNs.
• Clearance TS/SCI- FSP is required or a path to clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
• Maintain TCP/IP and routing/switching protocols; support L2/L3 networks and firewalls.
• Utilize Remedy for ticketing and work in a live-call environment; support VMware/Solaris containers.

Network Engineer

Lehi, UT

Clearance: TS/SCI- FSP

Skill Level 1 Provides network support requiring system-level design and architecture, enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet-capture software, the TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.

Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filtering and access control, CiscoWorks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP OpenView, Cisco routers and switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fibre Channel SAN, and IPsec VPN.

• Physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing/switching protocols; strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of the Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Support on-call requirements and work in a live-call environment using Remedy or another ticketing system.
• VMware and Solaris-container virtualization products.

Required

Three (3) years of demonstrable experience with a degree, or five (5) years without, in LAN network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.

Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec virtual private networks.
