Job summary

GRVTY is seeking experienced Network Engineers to deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers and clusters. You will own networking infrastructure, including Cisco/Junos gear, load balancers, and security devices, while supporting on-call and ticketing workflows.

The role emphasizes datacenter design, VPNs (IPsec), and hands-on installation/configuration in a live call environment, with VMware/Solaris containers for virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN) or 5+ years without a degree.
• Datacenter network design and Cisco installation/configuration incl. VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Own networking infrastructure across multi-vendor environments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
• Support on-call requirements and live ticketing in Remedy or similar systems.
• Work with virtualization products like VMware and Solaris containers.

Job description

GRVTY is seeking experienced Network Engineers to help deliver enhanced HPS capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments.

What You'll be Owning

• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

What You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum three (3) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or five (5) years minimum experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
