Recru is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, data centers, and remote locations. The role focuses on configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrading network devices in a Cisco environment to ensure performance, reliability, and uptime.
You will collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and security teams, handle upgrades and documentation, and provide support for office, data center, and remote sites.
Network Engineer supports and maintains enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, data centers, and remote locations. Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrading network devices in a primarily Cisco environment. The role ensures network performance, reliability, and uptime while collaborating with technical and business teams.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, outages, and user support requests.
Support routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and VoIP environments.
Assist with network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate network documentation and adhere to established change management processes.
Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and security teams to ensure secure and stable operations.
Provide network support for corporate offices, data centers, and remote operational sites.
3+ years of Network Engineering or Network Administration experience.
Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Solid understanding of routing and switching concepts, including BGP, EIGRP, static routing, VLANs, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, or similar platforms.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience supporting wireless networking and VoIP environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, end users, and business stakeholders.
Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls.
Oil & Gas or industrial industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
You have 3+ years of Cisco network engineering experience. You can configure, troubleshoot, and monitor enterprise routers and switches. You hold CCNA/CCNP and understand BGP, VLANs, VoIP
