The Network Edge Security team protects API security posture, analyzes traffic, and responds quickly to emerging threats at the edge. You’ll work with Java, Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript, using CDNs like Cloudflare/Fastly and AWS to build real-time data pipelines and ML models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or security engineering experience developing scalable production software with testing, evaluation and monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Python.
• Proficient in SQL and Spark.
• Experience in CDN and AWS ecosystems (Cloudflare and Fastly, AWS).
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and Datadog is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and mitigate emerging threats at the network edge using WAF rules, bot vendors, and CDN-native tech.
• Build out infrastructure for better inventory of network edge security posture.
• Develop near-real time streaming analytics data pipeline and application.
• Contribute to labeling and ML model development.
• Manage build, deploy and production monitoring systems.
• Work with Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, PySpark as needed.
• Evaluate integrations with vendor systems and in-house solutions.
• Develop AI-driven capabilities to classify and mitigate abusive traffic patterns.
• Significant experience with bot/fraud identification is a strong plus.
