Job summary

TriluxTech in San Diego seeks a Senior Network Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, implement, and secure cloud networking across AWS and Azure. You will build scalable architectures, manage VPCs/VNets, and drive network reliability in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform), monitor performance with Splunk or ThousandEyes, and tighten security with engineered firewall policies and zero-trust concepts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure networking.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network security.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco/Meraki solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Basic scripting/automation experience.
• Foundational experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code), including ability to read, modify, and deploy simple configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud networking solutions in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Configure and maintain VPCs/VNets, subnets, route tables, gateways, and load balancers.

• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts for network provisioning and monitoring.
• Use tools such as Python, Ansible, or similar for task automation.
• Contribute to improving operational efficiency through automation.

Tools & Monitoring

• Work with monitoring and analytics tools such as:
• ThousandEyes
• Splunk
• Manage identity and access control using Cisco ISE.
• Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
