Job summary

Job Title and Summary

DevOps Engineer – Network Automation. 3–4 days onsite in San Francisco Financial District. 2‑year renewable contract.

Seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in network automation to design, automate, and support enterprise Cisco and Azure network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a software development mindset and hands‑on experience with Python, Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code to automate network operations, improve reliability, and modernize enterprise infrastructure. This role partners closely with network engineers to build scalable automation solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Required Skills

• Python, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Azure DevOps, Git, YAML Pipelines, and CI/CD
• Cisco enterprise routing, switching, SD‑WAN, and wireless
• Azure networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall)
• REST APIs and network automation platforms (Catalyst Center, Nexus Dashboard, vManage, F5)
• Enterprise networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, VPNs
• Monitoring and validation tools such as ThousandEyes and Forward Networks
• AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and automation best practices
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
