Job Summary

The Network Development Consultant partners closely with the President of Vandalia Health Network to drive strategic planning, business expansion, and market growth initiatives. This role plays a key part in strengthening the network’s competitive position by cultivating relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape strategic plans and support new business initiatives that enhance and expand network services.
  • Lead and manage high‑impact business development projects aimed at increasing market share, revenue growth, and operational performance.
  • Foster alignment and collaboration among physicians, physician groups, hospitals, managed care organizations, and other market stakeholders to support organizational goals.
  • Monitor and maintain current intelligence on market trends, competitor activity, pricing, census data, and product strategies to inform decision‑making.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
