This position is contingent upon funding with an expected start date of December 2025. A SECRET Clearance is required.

SRG is seeking a Network Cyber Security Engineer responsible for providing engineering, acquisition, logistical, and cybersecurity support to the Navy, Marine Corps, Special Warfare Coalition, and Joint Forces. The role involves working on the Littoral Combat Ship mission within the Common Total Ship Computing Environment (TSCE). This is an on-site position only, with no telework.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing, implementing, configuring, and enforcing security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices.
2. Implementing STIGs and managing enterprise-level deployment of Active Directory.
3. Performing vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution tools.
4. Configuring Cisco networking devices and utilizing packet analyzer tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
5. Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and implementing firewalls and IDS/IPS solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a BS/BA degree; 10 years of related experience may substitute for education.
• Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in network security, including design, implementation, and enforcement of security controls.
• Experience with STIG implementation, enterprise deployment of Active Directory, vulnerability assessments, Cisco device configuration, packet analysis, troubleshooting, and security solutions.
• IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, Cisco CCNP).
• DoD Secret Level clearance or higher.
• Current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one prior to start.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience analyzing log data, traffic analysis, audits, and risk intelligence.
• Expertise in vulnerability remediation.
• DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• MS degree and 8+ years as a Network Security Engineer.
• Advanced Cyber Networking Certifications.
