Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the DoDIN at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This on-site, full-time role operates in a 24/7 mission-critical environment and requires an active Secret Clearance.

The candidate will monitor and troubleshoot the DoD network, manage incidents in Remedy, and coordinate with teams to ensure continuous network availability while rotating shifts based on mission priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in networking or network operations.
• Active Secret Clearance required with eligibility for Top Secret.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts.
• Diagnose circuit and network issues through router commands, loopback testing, error analysis, alarm review, and other troubleshooting techniques.
• Monitor network performance using specialized monitoring tools and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Create, update, and maintain incident tickets within Remedy.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and operational support across a global network infrastructure.
• Support continuous network availability within a 24/7 operational environment.

This full-time, on-site position operates within a 24/7 mission-critical environment and is ideal for candidates with strong network operations experience, a proactive troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to support key Department of Defense network missions. Candidates must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts based on mission priorities. Active Secret Clearance is required for consideration.

Compensation for the Network Controller includes:

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,500 annually, based on experience.
