Job summary

Ideal candidates will hold a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, possess a Secret clearance, and be available for 24/7 operations. You will collaborate with network engineers and government stakeholders to sustain mission-critical
Qualifications
- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
- Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance.
- Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret.
- Knowledge of DISN networking and NOC operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and optimize tickets using Remedy.
- Triages and manages tickets in assigned technology; provide guidance.
- Analyze network-event data to identify patterns and potential faults.
- Perform incident correlation and fault analysis to resolve alarms.
- Notify contacts and coordinate incident responses.
- Troubleshoot fault isolation across network elements; document findings.
- Support customers with global situational awareness.
- Design corrective action plans to remediate faults.
- Engineer restoration and reroute strategies to meet SLA.
- Document reroutes in CMDB and update stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing analytical oversight for mission-critical operations.
- Serve as technical authority on routing and performance.
