Job summary

IT Management Corporation (ITMC) is seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling at client sites across the region, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will work with the Network Technical Services team to pull, route, terminate, and test fiber and copper cabling, mount CCTV and wireless gear, document work, and keep sites organized and hazard-free on every job.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with BICSI standards and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with fiber terminations, copper patch panels, and testing equipment.
• IP and analog video cabling experience; comfortable with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber cabling.
• Install patch panels, label and test connections.
• Set up cable support structures and mounts for cameras and wireless gear.
• Troubleshoot voice and data line issues and document work.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free job sites and vehicles.

Job Description

You'll join our Network Technical Services team to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage and data cabling systems at client sites across the region. Every job is different, and we need someone who can read a situation, find the right solution, and execute it cleanly.

What You'll Do

• Pull, route, terminate, and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cable in new and existing buildings
• Install and dress copper patch panels; label and test all connections
• Install cable support structures: racks, J-hooks, and related hardware
• Mount and connect security cameras, wireless access points, and other low-voltage equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose voice and data line issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and hazard-free
• Keep company vehicles clean and organized

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data infrastructure experience
• Working knowledge of BICSI standards and OSHA requirements
• Experience with fiber terminations, copper patch panels, and cable testing equipment
• Familiarity with IP and analog video cabling
• Comfort with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted, work at heights, and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawling
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Prior construction site experience is a plus

Compensation

$65,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience.
