Job summary

IT Management Corporation (ITMC) is hiring for a Network Cabling & Low Voltage Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot data cabling systems across client sites in the region.

You will join the Network Technical Services team to install, test, and document CAT6/CAT6A, fiber, and related low‑voltage infrastructure while following safety standards. Strong physical capability and on-site experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data infrastructure experience.
• Working knowledge of BICSI standards and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with fiber terminations, copper patch panels, and cable testing equipment.
• Familiarity with IP and analog video cabling.
• Comfort with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted, work at heights, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Prior construction site experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cable in new and existing buildings.
• Install and dress copper patch panels; label and test all connections.
• Install cable support structures: racks, J-hooks, and related hardware.
• Mount and connect security cameras, wireless access points, and other low‑voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose voice and data line issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
• Keep company vehicles clean and organized.
