Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with copper and fiber optic installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cabling systems (twisted pair, coaxial, residential/commercial wiring).
• Familiarity with tools, connectors, cable testing, and hardware installation.

Requirements

Minimum

• State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization or willing to get certified.
• Candidates without certification must have hands‑on experience with copper and fiber optic installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cabling systems, including twisted pair, coaxial, and residential/commercial wiring.
• Familiarity with tools, connectors, cable testing, and hardware installation .
• Ability to teach technical skills and safety practices in a clear, effective way.

Preferred

Minimum plus Job Corps experience.

Knowledge

Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
