Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks an Instructor for the CTT Network Cable program at the Charleston Job Corps Center in Charleston, WY. You will deliver career technical training and guide students toward credential completion.

You will develop lessons, assess performance, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting students with behavioral and study challenges. A high school diploma, state certification, 3 years in a hard trade, and a valid driver’s license are required.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified/licensed or accredited in the state where the center is located.
• Three years related work experience in a hard trade occupation.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines and recommended materials.
• Review and audit assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness; prepare related reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment, documentation, and evaluation using CIS and related systems.

Job responsibilities

Instructors are responsible for the career technical training instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical training goals.

Essential Functions

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

Education And Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified. Licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization.
• Three (3) years related work experience in a hard trade occupation.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
