What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform insurance verification for patient benefit coverage for services provided
- Document all information related to coinsurance, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements
- Create necessary documentation to service patients in accordance with policy and payer guidelines
- Determine estimated patient financial responsibility using verification information and payer contracts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient patient service

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel, including formatting and document management
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, including text editing and document formatting
- Ability to document and manage information accurately in a system
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in intake/admissions or medical billing/collections
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance processes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
