Innova Solutions is seeking a Network Automation Engineer in Jersey City for an 18-month contract. You will design and productionize AI-powered network automation using Python, REST APIs, and ML for intelligent event correlation and self-healing remediation across enterprise networks.

The role requires 8–12 years in related fields and production ML experience. Work is primarily onsite (3 days/wk) in New Jersey.

Network Automation Engineer.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 18 Months

Location: Jersey City New Jersey (3 Days Onsite)

As a Network Automation Engineer, you will :

Design, develop, and productionize AI-powered network automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, machine learning, and observability platforms to enable intelligent event correlation, self-healing remediation, predictive analytics, and AI-assisted troubleshooting across enterprise networks.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong experience with Python development and backend automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience building backend services using Django or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Redis or equivalent in-memory databases for caching and state management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including Routing, Switching, Wireless, and SD-WAN.
• Experience integrating automation with monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and observability platforms.
• Experience designing event-driven automation and intelligent troubleshooting workflows.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning concepts including anomaly detection, classification, clustering, forecasting, and time-series analysis.
• Experience with Python ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience building AI/ML-enabled solutions in production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with MLflow or equivalent model lifecycle management platforms.
• Experience with vector databases and enterprise search platforms.
• Experience implementing self-healing automation and automated remediation solutions.
• Experience with event correlation, decision-engine workflows, and rule-based automation.
• Familiarity with observability data including metrics, logs, events, traces, and topology datasets.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, Network Automation, Telemetry, Monitoring, Data Engineering, or Applied Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML-enabled automation solutions into production environments.

Eligibility

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

• Pay Range*: $70/hr - $72/hr on W2.
