Job summary

Motion Recruitment represents a major Financial Services firm seeking a Network Asset Management Analyst in Irving, TX on a hybrid basis. You will verify asset data, build evidence packages for patching and vulnerability programs, and ensure data accuracy across systems while collaborating with network engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Network Engineering experience.
• 4 years of Business Systems Data experience.
• Experience in Business Systems Data, or equivalent via work experience, training, or education.
• 3 years Project management with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• 3 years technical experience with Network/Security devices; Asset Management.
• Bonus: Certifications like CCNA/CISSP/Security.

Responsibilities

• Act as an individual contributor verifying asset data.
• Act as an individual contributor building evidence packages for patching and vulnerability programs.
• Become fluent in all client policies and tools.
• Update systems of record with correct asset data.
• Provide weekly metrics and reporting.
• Participate in initiatives and identify process improvements within Network Engineering.
• Review and analyze assignments requiring evaluation of alternatives for low-to-medium risk deliverables.
• Present recommendations and exercise independent judgment while learning policies and compliance.
• Provide information to client personnel in Network Engineering.
• Lead or participate in technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems.
• Contribute to cost-effective systems and procedures meeting business requirements.
• Evaluate challenges requiring in-depth planning and direction.
• Partner with business and technology teams to provide solutions.
• Act as an internal consultant to re-engineer processes using quality tools.
• Collaborate to resolve issues and manage project schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of Network Engineering experience,
• 4 years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent
• Experience in Business Systems Data, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3 Years Project management. Exceptional project management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to success in a rapidly changing environment.
• 3 Technical experience with Network/Security devices, Asset Management experience. Bonus: Certifications like CCNA/CISSP/Security

• 2 Year running Asset Management programs for network hardware.

What You Will Be Doing

• Act as an individual contributor verifying asset data.

• Review and analyze basic or tactical Network Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to client personnel in Network Engineering.
• Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems.
• Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements.
• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems.
• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions.
• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes.
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables.
