Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior network architect to lead design and implementation of secure, scalable network architectures across business units. You will guide strategic reviews, establish standards, and drive orchestration to automate core network processes.

The role requires expertise in Cisco/Arista/Juniper/Fortinet, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and disaster recovery, with senior leadership responsibility for aligning IT with business needs.

Qualifications

• US Citizen/Green Card holder
• Experience in complex network architectures with focus on performance, security, scalability, resiliency, and automation
• 7+ years maintaining enterprise networking platforms
• 3+ years architectural changes at enterprise level
• Expert-level knowledge of network security, architecture, design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Fortinet products
• Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
• Experience in IT Risk, change management, operations, information security administration, and network administration
• Knowledge of network protocols, cryptography, and security practices
• Experience publishing policies, procedures, metrics and other information
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Industry certifications from Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet preferred

Job description

• Lead and manage project teams in designing network solutions and translating network requirements into plans for IT and business units, with a focus on network security


• Participate in the strategic leadership committee and provide network reviews of technology environments and network standards delivery


• Lead the safe integration of new and existing technical components into the operating environment


• Drive changes in the network operating environment to improve operational efficiency across multiple business units and technologies


• Lead engagements with business units to define and integrate business requirements into the technology architecture landscape


• Drive implementation of network standards and practices to support a strong security posture


• Lead the design of network orchestration to automate key processes


• Lead and manage the network program's Agile SAFE sprint planning activities


• Support teams in delivering projects through established project management and SAFE Agile processes


• Identify process and operational improvements to maximize value from network security investments and meet compliance and regulatory needs


• Advise senior leadership on information protection and network principles


• Lead the organization's network modernization and transformation to the cloud


• Drive effective delivery of business continuity and disaster recovery processes

Requirements

• US Citizen/Green Card holder


• At least 3 years of experience working in complex network architectures with a focus on network performance, security, scalability, resiliency, and automation


• 7+ years of experience assisting in the maintenance and management of enterprise networking platforms


• 3+ years of experience in design and ownership of architectural changes at the enterprise level


• Expert-level knowledge of network security, network architecture, design and implementation


• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Fortinet products


• Expertise in network best practices related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery


• Strong experience in IT Risk, change management, computer operations, information security administration, and network administration


• Expertise in the setup and delivery of network protocols, cryptography, and network security practices


• Demonstrated knowledge of current tools/practices for developing and publishing policies, procedures, metrics and other information


• Strong experience in network Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS


• Expert technical acumen in network security, network architecture, design and implementation


• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field (preferred)


• Industry certification from relevant industry network manufacturers such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or Fortinet (preferred)
