Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP configurations.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2012+ and Active Directory.
• Familiar with firewalls, routers, switches and networking gear.

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Los Angeles As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the maintenance configuration and reliable operation of computer systems network servers and virtualization environments You will also handle daily technical support activities related to the companys IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install configure maintain and upgrade network hardware routers switches and software operating systems network management tools
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Manage virtualization environments VMware or Hyper-V
• Maintain security protocols for all network devices
• Conduct regular backups of all critical data
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues
• Create user accounts and manage permissions on the network
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the organizations LANWAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with LANWAN networks TCPIP protocols DNSDHCP configurations
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems Windows Server 2012+ and Active Directory management
• Good understanding of firewalls routers switches and other networking equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
