Job summary

MechaForce in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and secure our network and infrastructure on a contract basis. You will monitor performance, configure hardware and software, and provide end-user support.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CS or related field, at least two years in a similar role, knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Network and Systems Administrator.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other networking protocols.
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
• Strong server administration on Windows or Linux.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Las Vegas As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining upgrading and securing our network and systems infrastructure This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Install and configure network hardware software and services
• Maintain network security by implementing firewalls VPNs and other security measures
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Upgrade systems as needed to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical support to end-users for network and system-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCPIP DNS DHCP etc
• Experience with Cisco routersswitchesfirewalls
• Strong understanding of server administration Windows or Linux
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
