Job summary

CoreHaul Logistics seeks a Network and Systems Administrator to oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of our computer systems, ensuring reliable network operation at our Atlanta facility. You will manage user accounts, monitor performance, implement security measures to protect against threats, and provide technical support to employees.

A Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of experience with TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, Windows and Linux, plus virtualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in network administration or systems maintenance.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing the installation configuration and maintenance of our companys computer systems You will ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and troubleshoot any issues that may arise Your role will also involve managing user accounts monitoring system performance and implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a strong background in network administration and system maintenance The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure A strong knowledge of networking protocols hardware and software is essential for this role

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain network equipment such as routers switches firewalls
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Ensure the security of our network infrastructure by implementing firewalls and other security measures
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
