Prestige Talent is hiring a Network and Systems Administrator in Washington, USA to manage the daily operations of our network and computer systems. You will install, configure, and maintain network hardware, troubleshoot connectivity with Wireshark, monitor performance, and ensure backups and security.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Computer Science, 3+ years of experience, strong Windows Server expertise, virtualization experience, and solid English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Network and Systems Administrator experience.
• Proficient with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Strong Windows Server experience (2008-2016).

We are currently hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in Washington. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our network and computer systems. Your main duties will include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and backup of all systems

Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain network hardware including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues using tools such as ping traceroute and Wireshark
• Monitor network performance to ensure optimal speed and availability
• Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
• Install and configure software applications on servers and workstations
• Maintain server backups to ensure data is secure in case of system failures
• Implement security measures to protect the companys data from cyber threats
• Respond to system emergencies during off-hours as needed
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvements

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols including TCPIP DNS DHCP VLANs
• Strong experience with Windows Server operating systems 200820122016
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
