Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) in Springdale, AR is seeking a Network Analyst to maintain data, voice, and wireless networks across campus. You will support core network hardware and software installations, monitor performance, and collaborate with IT staff and vendors to deliver reliable solutions.

This 100% in-person role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 3 years in network or systems administration, and 2 years leading technical efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, IT, information systems, networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible network/systems administration experience.
• Two (2) years in lead technical or systems administration capacity coordinating projects.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, information security, scripting/automation, disaster recovery, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, upgrade and support campus networks including data, voice and wireless
• Monitor network performance: availability, utilization, throughput and latency
• Monitor network security systems and respond to threats and incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and optimize performance
• Provide weekly status project updates to IT leadership
• Travel to offsite locations to troubleshoot and repair issues as needed
• Builds positive relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders
