Job summary

asmexternalcareersite is seeking a Network Administrator to build, support, and optimize network systems. You will install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, monitor security, and assist in small-scale deployments while troubleshooting issues as they arise.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree (BS preferred), 0–2 years of experience, and relevant certifications (Network+) and/or CCNA; TS clearance and Security+ or DoD 8140 equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in network administration.
• Current Top Secret clearance and Security+ or DoD 8140 compliant certification.
• CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA certification preferred.
• BS degree preferred; AS degree acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Install and support LANs, WANs, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure devices and related hardware/software.
• Monitor network to maintain integrity and security.
• Troubleshoot common network problems and escalate when needed.
• Assist in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting small-scale network deployments.
• Conduct routine tests to ensure operability and security of network systems.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of telecommunications hardware.
