Alesig Consulting LLC is seeking a Network Administrator to support local NECs, focusing on reliability and timely issue resolution. The role collaborates with NEC personnel to maintain secure network operations.
The position requires on-site work with standard hours, on-call/off-hours support, and rapid response to hardware or software incidents. Qualifications include an Interim Secret Clearance and relevant certifications.
As part of the network administration team, provide technical support and expertise to local Network Enterprise Centers (NECs) in administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware and software supporting the client’s environment. The position requires collaboration with team members and NEC personnel to ensure reliable network operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with core working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position may require on-call, after-hours, or other off-schedule support as needed. During on-site hours, the employee is expected to respond to reported hardware or software issues within 30 minutes of initial notification and, when on-call, begin troubleshooting or corrective action within two hours of notification.
Employees must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time. They should be able to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as reach with their hands and arms. The ability to talk, see, and hear is also required. Employees must be capable of working on a desktop or laptop computer for long durations. Occasionally, they may need to lift and move moderate amounts of weight, typically no more than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
