ASM Research in Columbia, SC, seeks a Network Administrator to build, support, and optimize the organization's network and related systems. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot small to medium network deployments and manage access to Active Directory.
The role requires 2–5 years of network admin experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and security qualifications such as Security+ or DoD 8140 IAT-II. Must maintain network security and performance.
Responsible for, the build, support, administration, and optimization of the network and associated systems software and hardware. Designs, deploys, and troubleshoots small-scale network deployments. Conducts routine tests to ensure operability and security of the network. Authorizes access to the active directory. Identifies network needs and capabilities from an end-user perspective. Troubleshoots intermediary network problems and escalates large-scale network issues appropriately.
Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
