Job summary

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is seeking a Network Administrator I to join the Technology and Information team in Reno, NV. You will assist with installation, maintenance and administration of RTAA networks, servers and virtual environments.

This role provides first-level support, documents procedures, and participates in infrastructure upgrades. Occasional on-call duties and safety/compliance tasks are part of the position, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field is required.
• 0–2 years IT support experience preferred.
• Progressive IT support or help desk experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of data networks and equipment.
• Identify, test and document fiber-optic and TP infrastructure for network connections.
• Support helpdesk escalations related to networking, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint and systems administration.
• Document break/fix activities and update network configuration records.
• Provide input on hardware and software for purchasing decisions.
• Maintain knowledge through training and keep up with emerging technologies.
