Job summary

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is seeking a Network Administrator I to join our Technology and Information team. You will collaborate with a team of network and systems administrators to install, maintain, and administer RTAA networks, servers, and virtual machine environments.

This role provides first-level support for RTAA technologies, including data networking, information security devices, disaster recovery hardware, and VoIP systems, with opportunities for training and certification over

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field is required, plus 0–2 years IT support experience.
• 2–4 years of progressive IT support or Help Desk experience with Tier 2/3 escalations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of data networks and equipment.
• Identify, test and document fiber-optic and TP infrastructure for network connections.
• Support helpdesk escalations related to networking, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint and systems administration and escalate as needed.
• Document break/fix activities and procedures in the service desk system.
• Accurately document and update network infrastructure and device configuration records.
• Provide input on hardware and software for purchasing decisions.
