Job summary

Essential Network Security (ENS) Solutions, LLC, in the Washington, DC area, seeks a seasoned Network Engineer to install, configure, and support LAN/WAN systems and maintain network uptime. You will monitor performance, test websites, and collaborate on network modeling and planning.

Supervisory duties include leading network support staff and enforcing security measures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical training, certification or degree related experience.
• TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network availability and perform maintenance to ensure uptime.
• Test Web site performance and ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption.
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• Administer network security measures including firewall administration/management.

• Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
• May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• May administer network security measures to include firewall administration/management.
• Required Education and Experience: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree + 8 years
• Certifications: DoD Manual 8570.01-M at the Information Assurance Technical (lAT) Level II role
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
