Job summary

Southern Ute Shared Services seeks a Network Administrator to maintain the enterprise network, troubleshoot issues, and handle add/move/change in voice and voicemail systems. You will support the network group and Senior Network Administrator in managing information systems, servers, routers, and related appliances.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with Cisco/telephony experience or an equivalent combination, plus strong TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing and switching knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Business or related field with two years' Cisco or collaboration telephony admin experience.
• OR an Associate degree with four years' experience in enterprise network or collaboration telephony tools.
• OR a high school diploma with six years' experience in enterprise network or collaboration telephony tools.
• Must understand TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network; resolve issues.
• Manage add/move/change in voice and voice mail systems.
• Assist with information systems, servers, routers, and network appliances alongside the team.

Job description

This position is responsible for enterprise network maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Responsible for add/move/changes in all voice and voice mail systems. Assists network group and Senior Network Administrator with managing information systems, servers, routers, and other network infrastructure appliances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and two years of experience in the administration of a Cisco enterprise network or collaboration telephony tools;

OR,

• an Associate degree in Computer Science, or related field and four years’ experience in administration of an enterprise network or collaboration telephony tools;

OR

• a high school diploma or equivalent and six years’ experience in the administration of an enterprise network or collaboration telephony tools.
• Must have a strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, and switching.
