Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

We are currently partnered with a leading healthcare provider in Dallas, TX, to help them find a Network Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Cisco Meraki environments. This is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days onsite per week and offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and support Cisco Meraki wireless and switching infrastructure across multiple clinical and administrative sites.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and support medical systems requiring high availability.
Maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant network environments through firewall policy management and access control.
Support and improve LAN/WAN connectivity for EMR systems, VoIP, telehealth platforms, and remote users.
Assist with network upgrades, security audits, site deployments, and documentation.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams on policies and incident response.
Work with third-party vendors and ISPs for circuit management and troubleshooting.
Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.
Strong experience managing Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points (required).
Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP).
Familiarity with healthcare environments and compliance (HIPAA, HITECH) is a plus.
Experience with tools like SolarWinds, SNOW, or other monitoring platforms.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Cisco certification (CCNA or CMNA) preferred.
