2-3 days onsite in Irving, TX (MUST BE LOCAL)

Needing Experience in: (ZeroTrust, Network Access Control (NAC), Firewalls, Load Balancing) to complete upcoming projects.

Hands on Palo Alto firewalls and/or Zscaler as this team, Network Security Engineering, design and implements based on the policies Cyber provides.

Job Overview

Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Network Access Control (NAC), firewalls, and load balancing to support and execute key infrastructure security projects. This role is part of the Network Security Engineering team, which is responsible for designing and implementing secure solutions based on policies provided by the Cybersecurity Governance team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement network security controls in alignment with organizational security policies
Deploy, configure, and maintain firewall solutions—with emphasis on Palo Alto Networks and/or Zscaler
Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) to regulate and secure access across the environment
Support load balancing strategies to ensure availability, performance, and secure traffic management

Required Skills and Experience

hands-on experience in network security engineering
Strong knowledge and experience with firewalls (Palo Alto required; Zscaler preferred)
Solid understanding and implementation experience with NAC technologies
Experience with load balancers in enterprise or hybrid environments
Ability to translate security policies into technical designs and configurations
