Axiom is Hiring!

We are looking for a computer enthusiast who can perform a wide range of hands‑on tasks to keep networks, PCs and audio/video equipment running reliably. This role works directly with our CEO in his home office environment and supports multiple connected spaces. Ideally, you have experience administering Windows systems and networks, enjoy troubleshooting and can adapt quickly to new technology. Mind reading not required, but is a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keep the home‑office technology environment stable, secure, and easy to use (Windows PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, A/V gear and networking hardware).
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows systems: user profiles, updates, reliability issues, performance issues, device drivers and general break/fix.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the network: firewall/router, switching, cabling, Wi‑Fi access points and connectivity across multiple areas.
• Support A/V systems and network‑connected media devices (including streaming devices and receivers) and resolve “it stopped showing up” / “it won’t connect” issues.
• Monitor backups and backup alerts, keep backup systems healthy and perform restores when needed (including bare‑metal recovery workflows).
• Enforce endpoint protection / antivirus policies and coordinate changes when needed.
• Respond to tasks and document solutions clearly, with the goal of closing the issue completely the first time.
• Communicate clearly in writing so as to capture what you did, why you did it and what to watch for going forward.

Required Qualifications

• Strong general troubleshooting skills (you can isolate variables, reproduce issues and test fixes).
• Solid Windows experience (desktop OS support and basic administration).
• Comfort with networking fundamentals or a willingness to learn.
• Clear written communication and good task documentation habits.
• Professional discretion (you will work in a private office environment and must handle sensitive info appropriately)

Schedule and Location

• Full‑time, in‑office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST
• Clearwater, Florida
