Job summary

CS Partners in Michigan is seeking a Network Academic Coach for a full-time, semi-remote role traveling to school sites. You will support curriculum and instruction, deliver professional development, model instructional strategies, and coach teachers to raise student learning.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in education, Michigan teaching certification, 5+ years of classroom teaching, and experience in secondary teaching or instructional coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required; graduate work in curriculum and instruction preferred.
• Michigan teaching certification required.
• 5+ years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Experience in secondary teaching or instructional coaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly/bi-weekly learning walks and coaching cycles with designated teachers, plus modeling and planning; provides feedback on instruction.
• Analyzes formative and summative assessment data to identify learning opportunities for individual students and groups.
• Consults with instructional leadership and district staff responsible for student outcomes.
• Provides academic coaching responsive to identified staff needs and supports follow-up development.
• Delivers professional development aligned with Michigan core teaching practices.
