Job summary

Manistee Area Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Academic Specialist to provide targeted instruction for small groups and individual students, up to 25 hours per week during the school year.

Qualified candidates may hold Michigan teacher certification, be enrolled in student teaching, or hold a bachelor’s degree. Experience with diagnostic assessments and data collection is preferred to help monitor progress and inform instruction.

Qualifications

• Current or expired Michigan Teacher Certification.
• Enrolled in a student teaching program through a college or university.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted instruction for small groups and individual students.
• Collaborate with ELA Coach and Math Coach to align instruction.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic assessments and monitor progress.
