Job summary

SkyWater Technology Foundry is seeking a NetSuite Developer to design, customize, and optimize NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerce Advanced solutions. The role demands broad IT programming skills, strong integration experience, and the ability to work across cloud, web, and backend technologies.

You will build scalable customizations, enhance eCommerce functionality, and integrate NetSuite with enterprise systems using middleware platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of NetSuite development experience; SuiteCommerce/SCA preferred.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, Java, C#, SQL, or Node.js.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong understanding of SuiteScript, NetSuite APIs, workflows, saved searches, and data structures.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems using Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar middleware.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), serverless functions, or microservices is a plus.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Comfortable working across IT domains: web development, backend services, integrations, automation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize NetSuite modules including ERP, CRM, Order Management, and eCommerce.
• Develop integrations using RESTlets, REST APIs, and middleware tools (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft).
• Build and maintain solutions using languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, SQL, and Node.js.
• Support broader IT development tasks including API development, data transformation pipelines, and cloud-based services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Manage full development lifecycle including sandbox development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across ERP, eCommerce, integrations, and IT services.
• Implement best practices around security, performance, data governance, and scalability.

Primary Objective:

The NetSuite Developer will design, customize, and optimize NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) solutions. This position requires a well-rounded developer with broad IT programming capabilities, strong integration experience, and the ability to work across cloud, web, and backend technologies. The developer will build scalable customizations, enhance eCommerce functionality, and integrate NetSuite with enterprise systems using middleware platforms.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Develop SuiteScript 1.0/2.x scripts, workflows, and custom ERP/eCommerce customizations. Build, extend, and optimize SuiteCommerce / SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) front‑end and back‑end components.
• Configure and customize NetSuite modules including ERP, CRM, Order Management, and eCommerce.
• Develop integrations using RESTlets, REST APIs, and middleware tools (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft). Apply general programming and IT development skills across multiple languages and frameworks to support integrations, automation, and backend processing.
• Build and maintain solutions using languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, SQL, and Node.js.
• Support broader IT development tasks including API development, data transformation pipelines, and cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs solutions.
• Manage full development lifecycle including sandbox development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, SuiteCommerce Developer, SuiteScript Developer).
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern SDLC tools.
• Understanding of ERP business processes including Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Inventory, and Finance.
• Integration flow development in Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.
• Experience building reusable APIs, data workflows, or microservice integrations across enterprise systems.

Work Environment & Collaboration:

• Works closely with Business Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and broader IT development teams.
• Provides technical leadership in eCommerce, ERP, and integration projects.
• Helps advance IT development maturity through best practices, scalable architectures, and cross-team collaboration.
